Grandkids Can Boogie Too !

Did you know there is another migration           
held right here in Ocean Drive, July 15-19?                
It is Junior SOS.           

This event has been going on since 1992. The first venue was
Smiley's (Groucho's) in Charlotte, NC, moving to N. Myrtle Beach in 1995. In the last several years there has been an explosion in JrSOS
membership! In 2008 we had over 650 join and we are anticipating 1000 members in '09. Ages range from 3 to 20.

This year's schedule is jam-packed so there is never a dull moment. For a $10 annual membership the kids get free workshops for all levels - beginner through advanced. We're even considering a thirty minute "tiny tots" workshop for those little ones whose attention span is limited. There are free T shirts, welcome packets, beach activities, contests, pizza parties, hot dog parties and a gospel brunch ..

                                    WHEW! I don't know about you but I'm already excited                                     thinking about all the fun.

As always, the clubs here at Ocean Drive go out of their way to make this an incredible week for the kids. Those clubs are Ducks, Harolds, OD Arcade, Boulevard Grill and the OD Resort. Thanks to them for the support. "The Surf' 94.9 also conducts a tour of their studio for the kids.

Junior SOS means as much to these kids as our Spring Safari and Fall Migration SOS means to us. So now you know that...
